Welcome to the Pet Monkey web site. The Pet Monkey band has been reincarnated more times Shirley MacLaine. The list of previous band members includes Robin Dollar, Rusty Miller, Danny Williams, Alan Ferguson, Amber Vores, Betty Klein, Steve Elston, Dan Bent and Kara Landes, so when Chris Oaks, Steve Creech and Scott Strange were looking for a name for their new three-piece project, reviving the Pet Monkey brand seemed like a logical decision.
Pet Monkey has, for the first time in it's history, a lineup of three vocalists equally adept in both lead and backing tracks. In addition to polished musicians skilled at performing on multiple instruments, the myriad of professional experiences of the three members give the band a vast and varied set list that can cater to almost any situation. Together as one, Scott, Chris and Steve hope to bring talent, magic and enjoyment to stages across Indiana.

Pet Monkey's three members are: Steve Creech, a studio owner and music engineer who primarily plays bass, but also plays guitar and keys; Chris Oaks, a full-time musician and part-time student, who plays the hell out of his Breedlove acoustic guitar; and Scott Strange, who handles 6-string and lead guitar parts and occasionally plays bass. All three musicians are accomplished vocalists. Pet Monkey utilizes a rhythm machine and Digitech vocal processing to fill out their stage sound. A state-of-the-art Mackie sound system brings top notch audio to any venue and stage lights compliment the show. A sound system capable of many outdoor venues is also available, making Pet Monkey a great entertainment package for corporate events and family reunions.
